Pink Tropical Bird & Pomegranate Print Kantha Throw

Our range of throws uses the technique of ‘Kantha’ – a running stitch, one of the oldest forms of Indian embroidery, which was traditionally used in West Bengal and Bangladesh. Our throws are 100% printed cotton with a self—coloured backing and are embellished with lines of running stitches. A standard blanket double, they are perfect for sofas or as bedspreads, bringing an injection of colour, print and texture to a room.

This dreamy pink coloured kantha quilt is beautifully botanical with luscious green leaves, blooming pomegranates and lively cockatoos all set against a pretty pink background. The running stitches are white and dark pink adding beautiful depth to the design. The backing is a light pink which brings out the colourful running stitches.
