With light, breathable fabric hand printed with care these pyjamas definitely make the list for Powell Craft summer essentials. The delicate blue blossom set features birds with soft green plumes sitting on branches budding into cream blooms against a pale blue background, or, if your feeling more exotic this beautiful print of multi-coloured exotic flowers against a vivid teal background will make bedtime fun and colourful. Both sets are new in, making them some of our most popular designs, however the classic white set is a long standing favourite.
Summer nightdresses
Light and airy, these summer nightdresses are ideal for summer, with delicate stitching they are a Powell Craft favourite, and essential for your summer wardrobe. The Lorna nightdress shown on the bottom left has a Broderie Anglaise edged bodice with a square neckline and features pin tucks interspersed with bands of lace and embroidered flowers and even more lace around the arms. The skirt of the nightdress is full and embroidered with flowers. Both the Joanna and Henrietta dresses- shown to the right- feature v-shaped necklines, Henrietta with a cross over style and wide waistband for a very comfortable fit, and the Joanna nightdress with embroidered roses where the straps meet the top. In the top Left we see the very romantic nightdress Darcy described by one of our customers as ‘rather alluring’. This style is reminiscent of the Regency period with its ruffled neckline and a drawstring tie, and elasticated ruffled short sleeves which can be worn on or off the shoulder.
