Meet the team is a little later than normal this week. It has been extremely busy at Powell Craft HQ over the Black Friday weekend and we must have broken a record with regards to the number of orders we received. So, thank you to everyone who did place an order! Hope you all managed to get most of your Christmas shopping done whilst taking advantage of some good deals.
This week you will be introduced to one of our Brighton girls, Jennie. Read more to find out about her role within Powell Craft and what her favourite products are.
Jennie manages the retail website and our social media platforms and loves how varied her role is. Based in the Brighton office, she was originally employed to cover maternity leave four years ago but has stayed on!
Jennie was born in Singapore and moved to Surrey when she was three years old before relocating to Brighton to begin an art foundation course. Jennies loves yoga and cooking and has recently bought a 1970’s singer sewing machine to practice Irish embroidery.
Quick questions:
Holiday destination: The Far East is a second home to Jennie and she also loves bargain hunting in the souks of Morocco.
Favourite book or film: Jennie cannot decide between Neil Gaiman's ‘Anansi Boys’ and ‘American God’ but is clear-cut on her favourite film - Baz Luhrman's ‘Strictly Ballroom’ which always puts a smile on her face.
