There’s nothing cosier than snuggling up with your little ones with a captivating story book. Two of our ranges, Red Riding Hood and The Owl and the Pussycat, have been inspired by traditional children’s stories. The story of Red Riding Hood originated in Italy in the 10th century and the best-known version was published in 1812 by the Brothers Grimm, two German academics who collected and recorded folk tales from all over Europe. The Owl and the Pussycat, a nonsense poem written by Edward Lear was published in 1871. Both stories have inspired numerous artists, been set to music, performed on the stage and been made into animations.
