The ‘Veronica’ nightdress is one of our classics – our customers love it. This full-length, sleeveless nightdress has a button opening at the neck with frilled trims around the neckline and arms. The bodice is shaped towards the bust and embellished with embroidery and seed beads.

Love the cotton nightie looked everywhere for a good quality cotton nightie.
Had it posted to Australia without any problems. Just love the weight ,style and quality have brought two and probably need a couple more the was a good purchase. We all need to wear the beautiful cotton nighties that are so comfortable especially the breathable fabric.

Very light cotton

Out of all my nightdresses from Powellcraft this is my least favourite, the material feels thinner and is definitely more transparent than all my others. (Not one to wander round in without a robe.)
It is lovely and light for sleeping though.

Nice nightdress; shame about the reduced sizing

My experience its exactly the same as your other customer, Margaret: I had one of these nighties before (and still have it) and the new one is smaller and tighter, including around the arms. The fabric is also harsher - I'm hoping another dozen washes will soften it up. It's a nice looking nightdress, just smaller and less comfortable that I had expected.

Cost-cutting with fabric dimensions

I have one of these bought a long time ago, from a shop, where I could try it on, and, as it is a favourite, was looking forward to a new one. However, though the embroidery at the top is fine, the fabric dimensions in the body of the garment have been reduced and it is therefore not so satisfying. The new nightdress is 2 and a half inches shorter down the side-seam from the bottom of the armhole, and a whole 5" narrower in width. Disappointing. It is, however, a good looking cotton nightdress. Just not the size I thought I was getting.

Really confortable cool cotton and a nice fit - im a 12/14 and currently breastfeeding so the buttons are really useful. The Lace on the shoulder straps is pretty but not very robust so not sure how long it will hold up. Ive got the pink and white and had to repair them before first wear

I have this in pink and black also and this is a lighter weight cotton than those. The shoulder strap lace isnt as robust as the pink one and i feel should be reinforced somehow. Disappointed that the stitching was undone on the strap on arrival and had to repair.
Otherwise a very pretty and comfortable nightdress.
Im a size 12 and breastfeeding. It fits well and the buttons are convenient.
I feel elegant wearing these.

Lovely cotton and lace, very comfortable and washed well. Unfortunately the stitching on the shoulder strap was coming undone when it arrived which was disappointing as I expected better quality. I couldnt be bothered to return and repaired myself. Also have in white and black.

Lovely light cotton with pretty detailing. Would be better if there were 2 pockets rather than one and if they were a bit bigger
