This delicately embellished nightdress buttons from the neckline down to the hem so could easily double up as a housecoat. The long-sleeved style has a rounded neckline trimmed with the scalloped edge of white broderie anglaise lace. The bodice is extremely detailed with diagonal bands of broderie anglaise lace and pin-tucking from the shoulders to the waistband. The cuffs of the sleeves are finished with more lace.
