Our selection of hand-printed cotton nightwear for women has been a huge hit since we introduced it to our range. The beautiful soft cotton is supremely comfortable and lightweight enough for warmer weather and ideal for taking away on holiday to wear as a cover up by the pool. The pieces also make a wonderful gift – mums, sisters and friends will all appreciate the eye-catching, colourful designs.
In the range we offer classic long-sleeved pyjamas and nightshirts – both in two sizes, small/medium and medium/large (approximately 8-10 and 12-14) and a one-size dressing gowns. The pjs and nightshirts have covered buttons and the dressing gowns have contrasting trims and generous tie belts.
With a choice of soft tones or vibrant hues, there is a print to suit every taste. From chinoiserie style – a hybrid pattern with roots in both traditional Chinese and Indian designs with the influence of English botanical drawings featuring a myriad of flowers, leaves, and birds to bright Persian tile prints and a traditional paisley motif. Most of the designs are screen-printed and the paisley design is created using wood blocks, a skilled method of applying a pattern using hand-carved blocks to print the motifs onto the cotton.
