What's it about? In November 2020, we decided to add an option at checkout where our customers could choose to donate to some of our favourite charities. For every 50p donated on our online shop will be matched by Powell Craft! This has been a huge success so far and have been surprised by everyone's generosity. Woodland Trust In 1972, Woodland Trust was started by a group of friends sitting around a kitchen table in Devon. Their priority at the time was to save ancient woodlands. Today they are the largest woodland charity in the UK with over 500,000 supporters. Their vision is to have a UK rich in native woods and trees for people and wildlife to enjoy. We started supporting Woodland Trust in November 2020. Our planet is so important to us. We're hoping by 2025 we have raised enough money for the Woodland Trust to complete their Big Climate Fightback mission of planting 50 million trees.

Alzheimer's Research UK

From April 2021, we started to raise money for Alzheimer's Research UK, as this is a charity dear to a lot of our staff member's hearts. We have a few family members who suffer from dementia and it has been a heartbreaking journey watching them deteriorate before our eyes. Any money raised will help Alzheimer's Research continue their work in finding a cure for this horrible disease.
